Our Terms & Conditions
For preorders: ETA will be provided on each product title or on the collection page. Be sure to join our Facebook group for the most up to date info on everything concerning Quirky Baby preorders. Updates are also available on the front page of our website. By joining the group, you’ll also be able to give print suggestions, and vote on future rounds.
Am I able to cancel my preorder?
When we open a preorder, we have already placed the order with the manufacturer. This is so that production can begin ASAP. This is also why prints are limited. Because of this, preorders can be cancelled, but not until the preorder has arrived to me from the manufacturer. Cancellations will also incur a 20% restocking fee. This is because once you order, your purchase has been reserved for you. This helps cover processing fees, and a portion of the costs of the items you cancelled.
What if my preorder item is damaged?
Please inspect your preorder items upon delivery. They are checked twice by the manufacturer, and again once they get to me.
Manufacturer Defects & Warranty:
Quirky Baby provides product warranty for 20 days past delivery to you. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, such as damaged PUL, stitching, seams, and elastics, as well as product components (i.e. snaps, and fabric) Please contact us directly at email@example.com or message our business page on Facebook with photos of the issues/defects.
**Facebook posts about defects will not be approved to our Facebook group. You will be asked to contact us using one of the above mentioned methods.**
Mixing In-Stock with Preorder
** Please do not place a preorder purchase with an in stock purchase or with diapers from another round of preorders. Doing so will result in you not receiving your in stock or preordered items until all items are in our hands and shipped to you. However, if you want your items sooner, we will be happy to send them, but you are responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred.
Combining orders is not an option right now. You can, however, add on to an existing order.
Adding to an existing order:
- To add diapers on to your existing preorder, simply email us or message the business page, and let us know what you’d like to add to an existing preorder. We will then email an Invoice for the difference owed.
Preorder Address Change Needed? :
Fill out our address change form and add your new address to your customer account.
We will email you within 1 week of the form being filled out to notify you of its completion. You must submit your address change 1 week before the shipment has arrived. Once a label is printed, we cannot change your delivery address.
We aim to ship all orders same or next day. Please note, it can take up to 5 BUSINESS days for your order to ship in some circumstances. Any orders placed after 2 PM on a Friday will NOT ship until the following Monday. We ship M-F. We do NOT ship on the weekends.
~Preorders begin to ship within 3 days of when they arrive to Quirky Baby HQ.
Customs/Duty Fees may be due once orders have arrived in Canada. This is determined by Customs upon inspecting incoming packages. Quirky Baby is not liable to pay said fees.
LOST OR MISSING PACKAGES:
We will always do everything we can to help you find your package. However, once your package is in the hands of the postal service, we are not responsible for it. We suggest you choose Priority Shipping for all packages for the time being (due to Covid-19) so that you have insurance. We have also included additional Route Insurance on all orders on the website. It is automatically turned on. We recommend you leave the option on, but it’s completely up to you. However, by opting out of Route, we are not obligated to replace or refund your order. Route ensures that your order will be replaced or refunded (after investigation) in the event it is lost, damaged, or stolen, while in transit and up to delivery.
You can always contact your local post office for additional assistance. Be sure to have your tracking number and all tracking history ready for them. We also recommend signing up for tracking notifications on your packages. They seem to move better when they are being “watched.”
RETURN TO SENDER PACKAGES:
Our shipping labels are printed with the address you provide at checkout. If a packages is returned to us due to an address error, we are more than willing to re-ship your items, however, you are responsible for the shipping costs to re-ship your items.
IN-STOCK CANCELLATION POLICY:
We hate for anyone to need to cancel their order, but we understand things happen. To cancel your order, please message the business page. You may also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. However, once your order’s shipping label has been created, we are unable to cancel your order. You would then need to wait for your items to arrive, then request a refund.
Cancellations are refunded minus a 20% restocking fee. This helps to cover processing fees, and a portion of the product you are cancelling.
QB RETURNS DEPT ~ click the link to initiate a return
We have a 14- day return policy, which means you have 14 days after delivery of your item to request a refund. If it’s been more than 14 days, unfortunately we can not offer a refund or exchange.
A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your total refund, along with the original cost of shipping the product to you, and any fees we incurred from Sezzle or PayPal, etc.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, unwashed, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
We ask that you return your item(s) in the same manner it was sent to you (I.e. a box, padded envelope, etc)

Any item(s) returned to us without prior authorization will not be accepted. Please be sure to have your order number inside your package.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt, and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue, and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, seconds items, gift cards, or personal care items. Additionally, we can not accept returns from smoking homes.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, we will automatically refund you on your original payment method, minus the 20% restocking fee (which includes processing fees) & shipping costs. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Please give your bank up to 14 business days to process your refund.
(Mississippi Folk : THIS NOTE IS FOR Y’ALL: Quirky Baby, LLC is based in Mississippi. This one means ALL orders made by residents within the state of Mississippi will be charged at our 7% (7.25% in the city of Tupelo) tax rate automatically during checkout. This is state law.)
